Zoning Compliance
The Charter Township of Oxford Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) is a five (5) member body created by the
Township Board of Trustees under the authority of the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act (P. A.110 of 2006). Zoning
Board of Appeals Members are appointed by the Township Supervisor with the approval of the Township Board for
staggered three-year terms.
The Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) is charged with hearing and deciding appeals that arise in the administration of
the Zoning Ordinance, Zoning Map, or matters referred to it from any administrative official or body charged with the
enforcement of the ordinance.
The ZBA meets at 7:00 p.m. on the second Monday of each month (except holidays) as needed, at the Charter Township of
Oxford Hall, 300 Dunlap Road. All meetings are open to the public.
Agendas are posted outside the Township office located at 300 Dunlap Road and at the Village of Oxford office located at 22 W. Burdick St. no later than the Monday preceding the meeting.
